The lodge, which was awarded the Travellerts Choice Best Safari Property in Africa Award during the Good Safari Guide Awards in Durbanin May this year, sits in the Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking the backdrop of the Rift Valleys Mau Escarpment.
Located off the Mai Mahiu Narok road, it is easily accessible by road.
The lodge was crafted from bush stone and local acacia, leleshwa and olive trees and has been committed to preserving the ecology and supporting wildlife conservation in the area.
The lodges furniturte is carved from the idegenous leleshwa tree roots. Original batik artworks enhance the earthy colours of the ochre enriched walls. Bark cloth lampshades, African antiques and carvings also add to the beauty of the lodge.
The lodge has eight stand alone and well spaced cottages , each with a four poster olive wood king size bed. In the main building, there is a Lover's Den complete with a fireplace and candles where couples can enjoy quiteness and privacy.
Guests can also relax or sit by the heated swimming pool. The Mau escarpment is also just a short walk from the main lodge building. The lodge has a wide array of wildlife including the endagered white rhinos,bufalloes, grevy zebras, antelopes, giraffes, topi, oryx, greater kudu and the Narina trogon among others.
During night game drives, one is likely to spot the leopard, lion, aardvark, gorilla and the spotted hyena.
Bird watching ia also a popular activity with the 320 bird species flying and nesting around the lodge.

Day 1: Mt. Longonot & Lake Naivasha
Be picked up by our guides from your hotel in Nairobi or Naivasha for a trek to Mt longonot to 9000ft, where a feeling to the altitude go along with the tropical sun and steep slope offers a good acclimatization for climbing Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro. Then Proceed to Lake Naivasha for an over night stay a budget hotel.
Day 2: Hells Gate, Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast proceed to Hells Gate National Park for a trek into the gorge Hells Gate National park is famous for its natural hot geyser, eagle and vulture breeding grounds, visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, cycling and rock climbing within the park.
Their after proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Over nigh stay at Lake Nakuru budget hotel.
Day 3: L. Nakuru - Maasai Mara
After breakfast take a morning game drive enroute to Maasai Mara. Arrive in Masai Mara in the afternoon for a game drive with picnic lunch enroute. Over night stay at the Camp site .
Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara
Full day will be spent in the vast Maasai Mara in search of its renowned plain game; Black manned Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and migration of Wild Beast and Zebras. The ride will take you to the famous Mara River where we have the Hippos and Crocodiles. This section also boasts of many species of Bird life. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Day 5: Masai Mara Nairobi
You will enjoy early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi , enjoy a picnic lunch en-route to arrive late in the evening to end your trip.
